Crisis Communication: Managing a Multicultural Workplace
For the first time in history, four generations — Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Millennials — are represented in the workforce and this has presented new challenges for leadership. A lack of awareness concerning the values and expertise of the other generations is prevalent among these four distinct generations. This can lead to management challenges and productivity issues and is especially evident given the virtual space we currently find ourselves in with nearly 50% of Americans working from home and having to rely on technology to work. This is up from 4.5% of Americans working remotely as of just last year. This is something that for some generations is a rather “foreign” entity as they are used to “punching a clock” and working face-to-face.
This program is the perfect tool to bridge the generational gaps and build awareness that will lead to better hires, happier employees, stronger teams, and healthier organizations both in and out of a virtual space.
